I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. It comes across as being a positive report but if you listen to the actual words it seems a bit negative. Still they support it. But I'm not sure weather or not I appreciate what's said... it's not bad. Worth the listen, that's for sure. It only runs about 6 minutes.
There are also a few related links that are sure to interest you. (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4472410 the intro made me giggle.) It's worth listening to, if your smart enough to not take it offensively.
Other then those stories, that's all I have for now. ^.^ Peace out!

Other than the reviewer forgetting to note that there are awesome-wicked-cool L lighters, it was a good review. Sure, some of the word connotations were on the negative side, but Death Note's such a dark premise (you too can rid the world of assholes--just find a Death Note. You will also make a really ugly new friend.) that the language describing it has to be dark as well to truly capture what Death Note's about.
There's no sense in describing it in pink puffy heart joy-squeezed-from-a-smile terms because they just don't fit. Besides, if I had listened to something like that, I'd have hives now and someone would need a bucket of calamine lotion and a great big mop to help me.
